Why train with me?
I started my love for fitness being heavily involved in athletics. The competitiveness, discipline and drive instilled in me at a young age has transferred my love for sports over to health, nutrition and fitness. I’ve been training for well over 10 years, competed in 3 bodybuilding shows, competed in high level hockey, baseball, BMX racing and gone through the highs and lows of living with an incurable chronic disease.
Severe weight loss, rapid weight gain, career-ending injuries, competition dieting, performance training, I’ve been through it all and now I’m offering to help you along on your own health and fitness journey.
My goal is to not only guide you and take the guess work out of nutrition and training, but to educate and give you the tools to live a healthier, happier life without the need for a coach.
I was diagnosed with Crohn’s Disease in 2009 and there was not the resources available that there are today. If I had the nutrition and training knowledge I have now, it would have saved me years of research, trial and error, and countless health issues. Coming from an undergraduate science degree, I know the importance of using peer-reviewed research backed by science rather than following what the hottest fitness “guru” is preaching. Let me use my education, knowledge and experience to help guide you through the very misleading health and fitness industry while building the foundation for long term success.
I do not offer cookie-cutter programs. I only offer personalized programs designed just for you. Your specific goals, health conditions, body-type, metabolism, training style and current style of eating is all taken into consideration when building a nutrition or training program.
